Extraordinary Plant Collection of Ranno ’o Astra: Tesro'on. What does an animal's soul look like?

I often like to invest some time into a bit of a DIY for my fine art still life photography compositions. It all starts with an idea in my head which is then turned into a sketch. This sketch is in turn transformed into a ready-to-photograph composition, followed by hours and hours of photographing it in a close to complete darkness. And finally, the resulting image is then put together through a sophisticated image-editing process. This time, I wanted to explore one idea that came to my mind - "What does an animal's soul look like?" And this is how this composition was born....

Extraordinary Plant Collection of Ranno ’o Astra: Er Naro flower

Today I would like to share with you a story about a special flower called Er Naro. It belongs to the Extraordinary Plant Collection of Ranno ’o Astra. For example, at the moment I am working on my next art piece called Wave. I think the root inspiration for it comes from my years and years in commercial/fashion photography. While working in a photo studio, I had to carefully wrap mannequins with designers' clothing to...

How did this all start? A little sneak peek at the journey of an artist

Many people ask me where it all began. How did I end up where I currently am, and what was part of this life long journey so far? So, how did this all start?  I feel like I am an artist at my very core. I started as a painter and fell in love with the creative process from day one. I always admired still life paintings, especially those from the 17th century, but I was always on a lookout for some more inventive ways in art.  I have tried different techniques and methods from drawing to oils and one day decided...
